Our foster families had trouble saying goodbye, but we’re so happy that these guys have all found their forever homes. These are just some of our recent adoptions.

Adopted (by Jeff) September 2011. He was a foster. I couldn’t let him go. He’s sweet and happy and a lot of fun. Also handsome.

Chauncey

Adopted May 2011. Chauncey’s foster family would have kept him in a heartbeat, but a wonderful family with two great kids and three cats came along, and it was the perfect match.

(Trivia: When we were fostering him, his name was Lenny. We also have a foster named Brisco. Lenny Brisco. Law & Order. Ta-da.)

Tess

Adopted April 2011. Tess is a tiny little girl, just two years old with crazy muscles. She joins Denny (the world’s most timid greyhound (unofficial)) in a wonderful family.

Adopted February 2011. Artie was with us (his foster family) such a short time, it’s hard to believe how fast we fell in love with him, and how sad we were to see him go. But he found his forever home, and that part makes us very happy!

Beau

Adopted February 2011. It’s harder to find homes for black dogs. If people knew how sweet and loving Beau is, that wouldn’t be the case.

Dee Dee

Adopted January 2011. Dee Dee joins a terrific family that also includes Ali, an older greyhound, and Milano, an Italian Greyhound. If you’ve never seen an Italian, just think Mini-Me.

Adopted November 2010. He came to us as Hungry Jack. We called him Handsome Jack. He’s settled in and adjusting to cats, stairs, and grandchildren. He’s a wonderful boy, and we’re sure he’ll do great.

Luna

Lord Peter Wimsey

Adopted October 2010. We knew him as Malcolm (originally Maltese Malcolm), but when he was adopted by a local writer, whose other dog is named Nancy Drew, a renaming was required. As a goofy boy, he’s more than a little whimsical, so it works.
