Greyhounds must always be on a leash or in a securely fenced area when outdoors. Is your yard securely fenced? If yes, please note approximate height, type of fencing material, approximate area enclosed. Please note, Gorges Greyhounds does not approve adoptions to homes using any kind of electric or "invisible" fencing.

If your yard is not fenced, what sort of exercise would your Greyhound get?

Are you willing to take your Greyhound out at least four times a day to relieve him/herself?

Are your current pets spayed/neutered? Are they up-to-date on their shots?

Are you familiar with crate training? Are you willing to learn to crate train, if necessary?

Occasionally, a Greyhound with special needs (an older dog, physical restrictions, or "different" personality or preferences) is available for adoption. Would you be interested in being considered for such a "special" dog? (It's okay to say no.)

I understand that the adoption fee of $275.00 is a non-refundable donation to GORGES GREYHOUNDS. (The fee is due at time of adoption. There is no cost or obligation until adoption.) I also understand that GORGES GREYHOUNDS reserves the right, at any point during the process, to deny an adoption. I certify that all of the information contained herein is true and correct.
