Grey-b-sitting

Grey-b-sitting is an extremely informal service we provide as an alternative to putting your Grey(s) in a kennel or hiring a house-sitter when you're away. We've had dogs stay for part of a day; we've had others stay for several weeks.

Your Greys stay with Jeff (pictured here with puppy Zoe; Zoe is the little cute one), in Ithaca, as temporary (and honorary) members of his local herd of retired racers. This is where nearly all of Gorges Greyhound's dogs were fostered, so many placed dogs remember the house, the dogs, and/or Jeff.

We've got a big, fenced backyard, lots of dog toys, and plenty of dog beds. We'll do what we can to match your home environment: have your dog sleep in a crate or not, allow them on the furniture or not, whatever they're used to.

The cost is whatever contribution you care to make, shared between Jeff and Gorges Greyhounds. Seriously, whatever you think is fair.
